I. Overview
12-box fixed AC metal-enclosed switchgear is suitable for receiving and distributing electric energy in single busbar, single busbar with bypass and double busbar systems of 12KV and below three-phase AC 50HZ, and is particularly suitable for occasions with frequent operations. It is mainly used for power transmission in power plants, small and medium-sized generators, power distribution in industrial and mining enterprises, and power receiving and transmission in secondary substations of power systems.
The main switch of this switchgear adopts 28A-12 series, 12-12 series or 1-12 series vacuum circuit breakers, equipped with CD17 series electromagnetic operating mechanism or 17/CT19 series spring operating mechanism, and the isolating switch adopts 30-12 rotary isolating switch and 22-12 high current isolating switch series products.
This product complies with GB3906 “3~35kV AC metal-enclosed switchgear”, GB/T11022 “Common technical requirements for high-voltage switchgear and control equipment standards”, IEC60298 “AC metal-enclosed switchgear and control equipment with rated voltage above 1KV and below 52KV”, IEC60694 “Common terms for high-voltage switchgear and control equipment” and other standards.
II. Normal use conditions
- Ambient temperature: maximum temperature +40℃, minimum temperature -15℃;
- Ambient humidity: daily average not more than 95%, monthly average not more than 90%;
- Altitude: below 1000 meters;
- Earthquake resistance: earthquake intensity not exceeding 8 degrees;
- Daily average water vapor pressure not exceeding 2.2Kpa, monthly average not exceeding 1.8kpa;
- The surrounding air should not contain obvious pollution such as corrosive or flammable gases, water vapor, etc.;

IV. Main features
The 12-box fixed type is a metal-enclosed switchgear. The cabinet is welded with angle steel. The cabinet contains circuit breaker room, busbar room, cable room, relay room, etc. The rooms are separated by iron plates.
The circuit breaker room is in the front lower part of the cabinet. The rotation of the circuit breaker is connected by a pull rod and an operating mechanism. The upper terminal of the circuit breaker is connected to the upper disconnector, and the lower terminal of the circuit breaker is connected to the current transformer. The circuit breaker room is also equipped with a pressure release channel. If an internal arc occurs, the gas can release the pressure through the exhaust channel.
The busbar room is in the upper back part of the cabinet. In order to reduce the height of the cabinet, the busbar is arranged in a product shape and supported by an insulator with a bending strength of 7350N. The busbar is connected to the upper terminal of the upper disconnector, and the busbar rooms of adjacent cabinets can be isolated.
The cable room is at the rear of the lower part of the cabinet. The supporting insulator in the cable room can be equipped with a live display device. The cable is fixed on the bracket. When the main wiring is a contact scheme, this room is a contact cable room. The relay room is located in the front of the upper part of the cabinet. Various relays are installed in the room. There is a terminal block bracket in the room. Secondary components such as indicating instruments and signal components can be installed on the door. Secondary busbars can also be arranged on the top.
The operating mechanism of the circuit breaker is installed on the left side of the front, and the operation and interlocking machinery of the disconnector are above it. The switch cabinet is double-sided maintenance. The secondary components of the relay are inspected in the front, the operating mechanism, mechanical interlocking and transmission parts are maintained, and the circuit breaker is inspected. The main busbar and cable terminals are repaired in the back, and lighting is installed in the circuit breaker room and cable room. A grounding busbar equal to the cabinet width is provided under the front door to ensure safe and reliable grounding of each cabinet;
The cover and door are made of bent steel plates. During normal operation and maintenance, the door can be opened without tools according to normal operating procedures, but the cover cannot be opened;
The circuit breaker is fixedly installed in the circuit breaker compartment with a pressure release channel, and the operating mechanism is installed on the front left outside the cabinet. The two are connected by a horizontal shaft, a pull rod, etc.;
The upper and lower isolating switches are both GN30-10 (D) type with double breaks Rotary isolating switch (GN22-10 non-rotating type is used for the lower isolating switch cabinet with rated current above 3150A);
The circuit breaker, upper and lower isolating switches, front and rear doors use the interlocking method of JSXGN type box-type cabinet special mechanical lock mechanism and mechanical program lock to meet the “five protection” requirements of the switch cabinet;
a. This lock can only be pulled out of the “working position” and rotated right to the “disconnection lock position” after the circuit breaker is actually disconnected, and the isolating switch is disconnected and closed, preventing the disconnection and closing of the isolating switch under load.
b. When the circuit breaker and upper and lower isolators are both in the closed state and the handle is in the “working position”, the front cabinet door cannot be opened to prevent accidental entry into the live interval;
c. When the circuit breaker and upper and lower isolators are both in the closed state, the handle cannot be turned to the “maintenance” or “disconnection lock” position to avoid accidental disconnection of the circuit breaker. When the handle is in the “disconnection lock” position, only the upper and lower isolators can be disconnected, and the circuit breaker cannot be closed, avoiding accidental closing of the circuit breaker;
d. When the upper and lower isolators are not disconnected, the grounding switch cannot be closed, and the handle cannot be rotated from the “disconnection lock” position to the “maintenance” position to prevent live grounding.
Note: According to different switchgear schemes, some schemes do not have lower isolators, or replace lower isolators with grounding switches, and their “five-protection locks” can meet the requirements.
