Distribution cabinets can be classified in many ways, including but not limited to the following:
Classification by structure:
Protective distribution cabinet: also known as closed distribution cabinet, except for the installation surface, the rest of it is enclosed by a sealed insulating material shell, which can effectively protect the lines and parts.
Drawer-type distribution cabinet: In addition to the closed metal shell, its lines and various components are also installed in a retractable form, which is convenient for management and maintenance.
Power lighting distribution control box: usually a closed structure, mostly used for on-site distribution and transmission devices in industrial and mining enterprises.
Panel distribution cabinet: also known as switch board, except for the shielding plate on the front, there are no protective facilities on the other sides, and the protection level is low.
Classification by use:
Low-voltage distribution cabinet: used for power distribution and control in the industrial field.
Medium-voltage distribution cabinet and high-voltage distribution cabinet: used for power distribution and control in the commercial and residential fields respectively.
Power distribution cabinet and lighting distribution cabinet: used in different power demand occasions.
Metering cabinet: used for power metering.
Classification by installation method: wall-mounted, front-mounted, drawer-type and fixed distribution cabinets, etc.
Classification by control function: automated distribution cabinet, monitoring distribution cabinet and conventional distribution cabinet, etc.
Classification by installation location: indoor switch cabinet and outdoor switch cabinet, etc.
