I. Overview The S6 metal fully enclosed and fully insulated inflatable switchgear independently developed and produced by
our company has passed the type test of the National High Voltage Electrical Test Center. The products are widely used in the 10kV/6kV transmission and distribution system of the State Grid, and are the selected products for the transformation and distribution systems of various users in urban and rural areas.
The switchgear is a modular unit mode, which can be combined according to different purposes, and can be composed of modules of load switch unit, load switch fuse combination electrical unit, vacuum circuit breaker unit, and bus inlet unit, so as to meet the needs of various substations for the flexible use of compact switchgear.
The S6 gas-insulated ring main unit is a completely sealed system in which the live parts and switches are enclosed in a stainless steel body. The entire switchgear is unaffected by external environmental conditions, thus ensuring operational reliability and personal safety. By choosing an expandable busbar, any combination can be achieved to achieve full modularity. Extended busbar safety insulation and shielding ensure reliability and safety.

3. Design Description
The S6 gas insulated ring main unit is mounted on a galvanized sheet frame, The switching unit is inside the SF6 gas box, which is made of corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic 3mm thick stainless steel plate.

  The S6 gas tank is a “sealed pressure system” that can operate for 20 years under normal working conditions. The pressure of SF6 gas is 0.15~0.4bar during normal working. The gas tank is equipped with a pressure release device to ensure that the pressure is released from the bottom or rear when it is too high.

◆ Switch unit The load switch adopts the coaxial rotation double break mode, and the kinetic energy operation is carried out through the same – operation hole and slide plate, so the switch can only be in one of the three states of “closing, opening and grounding” at any time, so as to completely avoid misoperation.
◆ Operating mechanism The operating mechanism of the
switch is installed in the front part of the outside of the box, which is treated by special technology to prevent rust, which is convenient for manual operation and maintenance, and is easy to realize electric operation.
◆ Cable room that truly meets the needs The
cable connection room has a large space, and the sleeve is a standard design to achieve cooperation with all European standard cable plugs. Under normal circumstances, each load switch unit can be connected to 1~3 outgoing lines, and the special design type can be connected to 4~6 outgoing lines. The vacuum circuit breaker unit can be connected to 1~2 outgoing lines.
◆ Pressure release device The
pressure release device is separated from the cable room by a metal plate, if the pressure in the gas box is too high, the explosion-proof diaphragm in the device is broken to release the pressure.
◆ Cable connection
The international standard general specification sleeve (in line with the DIN47636 standard or the American standard) is selected, which is convenient for users to choose the corresponding cable accessories. It adopts T-shaped front and rear cable plug connection, European-style bolt step-by-step fastening structure, and M16 bolt is used for the connection between the front plug and the sleeve.
◆ Arrester connection The
load switch unit can be equipped with a T-shaped plug-in silicone rubber fully sealed metal zinc oxide arrester. When the number of cable loops is large and the space is insufficient, the π-shaped plug-in arrester can be used.
◆ Interlocking mechanism The interlocking mechanism inside the
switch can effectively prevent misoperation, and ensure that the cable room can only be entered when the switch is in the “grounded” state, and can be locked in different states.
◆ Auxiliary switch The
load switch and grounding switch can be configured with an auxiliary switch that can synchronously reflect the position status of the switch as needed.
◆ Fuse
GA series switch fuse is direct and easy to replace. The fuse is placed in the insulating tube, and the insulating tube is located in the metal gas box of SF6, which has the following advantages:
1. The fuse cover and sealing device are in the weakest part of the electric field
2. No conductive material can be attached to the fuse assembly
3. The part of the SF6 gas is completely protected
4. The breaker cover does not require additional insulated springs, energy storage operating mechanisms and linkage tripping devices to ensure that the load switch three phases are automatically disconnected at the same time when the fuse is blown in either phase.
◆ Switch test
series of switches have passed the test of the Electrical Equipment Quality Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, and the products meet the following main standards: GB/T11022, IEC 60694, IEC 60265, IEC 60420, IEC 60056, IEC60298, IEC 60129.
◆ Conditions of use:
The series switch cabinet is suitable for use in the temperature range of -40°C~+50°C. The 10kV live body is located in the SF6 closed gas box, the silicone rubber plug realizes the connection between the cable and the switch, forming a fully insulated and fully sealed structure, the whole system is not affected by environmental factors, such as moisture, dust, corrosive gas, etc., the SF6 gas box is made of stainless steel material to ensure that the switch is maintenance-free and has a long service life.
◆Surface protection The frame of the
ring main unit is made of galvanized sheet, and the surface is electrostatically sprayed to prevent corrosion. The front control panel of the cabinet is electrostatically sprayed.
